Miriam's Cup

If it wasn't for the righteousness of women of that generation we would not have been redeemed from Egypt
Babylonian Talmud, Sotah 9b

Miriam's Cup is the ritual vessel which has been incorporated into the Passover Seder. Miriam's Cup is a symbol of all that sustains us through our own journeys, just as Miriam's well followed and sustained us throughout our wanderings in the wilderness. Rather than wine, this cup is filled with living waters.

On the front is an etched hamsa (Hand of Miriam) engraved in Hebrew with the words Cos Miriam - Cup of Miriam and a tambril. The back is engraved with the words associated with Miriam: El Na Rifah Na La - Please God, Heal Her.

Baruch are You Havaya, Who brings us out of states of constriction into expansive wilderness,
sustaining us with endless possibilities and enabling us to reach a new place.
