Reunion is the culminating illumination of the Breath of the Compassionate series depicting the progressive unfoldment of soul, ultimately returning again into the Unity of Origin.

The Arabic side scripts read:
    Jal Jallal - the Majesty of the Majestic

This illumination was done in 3 sections to accommodate the hand-cut fretwork. Reunion has absorbed the prayers and dances of Sheikha Fariha of the Ashki Al-Jerrahi order along with dervishes from all over the U.S. and Mexico during a week long retreat in Crestone in late Summer 2005.

Acid etched copper, fretwork, oxide, enamel and teal and magenta acrylic mirror. Backed in cedar. 38" x 18"
