cHashmal

Breath is the transport between the Kabbalistic worlds of Water (s'firat cHohma - wisdom) and Fire (s'firat bina - understanding). The central letter alef bridges the letter mem on the right and the letter shin on the left. This is the cHashmal spoken of in Ezekiel which transports the mystic traveler across the physical and spiritual worlds. These are the same letters known in the Sefer Yetzirah as the mother letters.

A jasper sits above the alef, a stone used by shamans to accomplish the bridging of the worlds as it protects the traveler.

Chakte Kote (Red Heart) lumber forms the archway. Teal mirrors illuminate the mem and shin and each side of the jasper above.

Acid etched copper, fretwork, jasper, teal acrylic mirror and copper rivets. Mounted on Chakte Kote.   34.5" x 16"
