YIN YANG CRANES

Two cranes form the Yin/Yang polarities with the Chinese characters for PEACE above.
Etched into each of the inner folds of the plate are hexagrams from the I Ching reflecting aspects of balance between the Yin/Yang polarities.

To the north is Chung Fu, Inner Truth.(2 yang; 2 yin; 2 yang)
To the east is T'ai, Prospering. (3 yin; 3 yang)
To the south is Ch'ien, Creative Power.(6 yang)
To the west is K'un, Natural Response.(6 yin)

The patinas that developed during the etching process of this plate are truly extraordinary. No supplemental colorings have been added.
